# 0OP workflow tools

Two small, dependency-free JavaScript functions for planning work. The source is available under the MIT License included in `workflow-tools.js`, copyright Oğuz Erol.

## Use

Save `workflow-tools.js` in an ES-module project, or rename it to `workflow-tools.mjs` for a standalone Node.js module.

```js
import { toSlug, timeEstimate } from './workflow-tools.js';
toSlug('Weekly CRM Report!'); // 'weekly-crm-report'
toSlug('Ölçüm ve iş akışı'); // 'olcum-ve-is-akisi'
timeEstimate(30, 40, 6); // 16 hours potentially freed per month
timeEstimate(30, 40, 60); // -20: review adds 20 hours per month
```

`toSlug` returns a URL segment without a leading slash. It normalizes Latin diacritics, lowercases letters, replaces punctuation and whitespace with hyphens, and trims the outer hyphens. Non-Latin input may produce an empty result. Review the result before using it. The function does not check availability or predict search rankings.

`timeEstimate(manualMinutes, monthlyRuns, reviewMinutes)` returns a number of hours using `(manualMinutes − reviewMinutes) × monthlyRuns ÷ 60`. It accepts numeric values from zero to one million and requires `monthlyRuns` to be a whole number. Invalid inputs throw `RangeError`; strings are not converted automatically. The estimate excludes setup, maintenance, failed runs, and software costs. It is not a promised saving.

Both functions are pure: they make no network requests and read no cookies or browser storage. They do not send their inputs to 0OP.

## Editable planning templates

- Workflow brief, with a clearly labelled fictional example: https://0op.dev/templates/workflow-brief.md
- Data mapping CSV with fictional examples: https://0op.dev/templates/data-mapping.csv
- Agent evaluation CSV with fictional tests: https://0op.dev/templates/agent-evaluation.csv

The templates help define a project. They are not installed integrations or operational instructions for a live system. Replace the examples and agree permissions, acceptance criteria, and data handling before implementation.
